A Warm Place TDS NIN d26 clip 14 Loop.wav by destruct26 published on 2021-05-06T17:14:08Z On Nine Inch Nails, ‘The Downward Spiral’ the track ‘A Warm Place’ has an unknown vocal loop buried under the ambient intro for around 10 seconds. Many speculations and theories have been floating around for years as to what this is. A more popular belief is that the line was ‘The best thing about life is knowing you put it together.” However, with sound filters, etc. nowadays, I don’t believe that to be the case. What I hear is something akin to “There’s a lot of (us/people)(just sitting/sinning here/in the city here) [followed by a lower muffled voice saying something like, ‘including’] I believe this to be a clip from a movie tv show, news report or documentary, obviously before the song was made, which could be pre-1993, or whenever A Warm Place was made. A needle in a hay stack as far as finding out where this came from and how to find it but hey, that’s why puzzles are fun lol. Genre Alternative Rock Comment by cj definitely a bit late to comment on this but I hear it sounding reversed. I might be wrong 2022-10-20T22:50:05Z
