Waterday Scotland The band known as Waterday was formed early January 2009 by college mates Danny Kelly (bass, vox) and Jonny Tait (drums) who went on and recruited the crucial third member and front man Liam Colgan (guitar, vox) and the following year guitarist Jordan McKay. Although the band orignally started in 2006 under the name Silver Chain and then LBC, it wasn't until the band changed their name to Waterday that the finished article was unveiled. The boys range from all corners of Scotland from Inverness to Aberdeenshire to Glasgow and Dumfries. The band unleashes dance like rhythms in harmony with edgy melodies that create a great new sound for the generation. The name was inspired after nights with fellow college mates who classed Fridays as the recovery day from the night before. This band and its members have great motovation to promote their music and have a don't stop attitude to their band. It is easy to see that each and every one of us will soon be having our own Waterday. "Waterday deserve better and much bigger crowd, but it’s been a real privilege.” – T. M.
