Dan Carillo and Common Good Dan Carillo San Antonio, TX Dan Carillo is a guitarist, composer and arranger with extensive international performing experience in major concert halls, jazz clubs and jazz festivals throughout Europe, Asia, North America and South America. As a working musician on the NYC jazz scene, he performed and recorded as a guitarist, featured soloist, and arranger with Tania Maria, Jon Lucien, Lonnie Liston Smith, the Paul Winter Consort, Chico Hamilton, Dianne Reeves, Dave Brubeck, John Patitucci, Letta M’Bulu, and Harry Belafonte. Dan Carillo and Common Good is a trio with Andrew Bergmann on bass and Aaron Walker on drums. We play an eclectic style of contemporary instrumental jazz that includes elements of straight-ahead jazz, gospel, blues, Americana, and chamber jazz, as well as world influences from the Caribbean, Brazil, and the Near East.
