JohnTylerSounds John Tyler Baltimore https://johntylersounds.com/ John Tyler also known as Johnny Llama is a 20-year old, musician, producer, and visionary R & B/jazz artist. Born in Brooklyn, NY, raised in Baltimore, MD, John uses his experiences to blend a variety of sounds into his compositions. John began playing guitar at nine years old, inspired by playing Guitar Hero video games with friends. This led to him beginning his musical training at School of Rock Baltimore and having opportunities to play with band mates at different venues in Baltimore, including Rams Head and Ottobar. Throughout middle school, John was fueled to overcome bullying with music and encouraged by his mentor to create his own album. At 16, he released his first 17-song album, "True Art" and then in 2018, followed-up with his "True Love" album. Since graduating from Baltimore Design School where he created its High School Anthem, John continued his craft at Bowie State University and often collaborates with artists in Baltimore and Washington, DC. Other projects include: an EP, "No Color", soundtrack for Maryland Public Television's Women's Conference, film score for Bloomberg Philanthropies' Summer Internship Program and the most recent album, “The Good Side of Things”. John's dream is to someday tour and have music enthusiasts of all ages and races be inspired by his music. He also has a goal to encourage middle and high schoolers where it all began for him. The biggest lesson he's learned musically is patience, patience, patience.
