The Sick Livers Ginge Knievil Rumney Rock City The Sick Livers are South Wales' glam punk anti-heroes. Described by Pure Rawk as "coming on like one part Turbonegro, one part Zodiac Mindwarp and one part Backyard Babies." Renowned for their rabble rousing live show led by the irrepressible (and possibly certifiable) Ginge Knievil, this gutter level rock 'n' roll outfit is completed by the dual sleazy guitars of VJ and DJ, the pounding floor toms of Matty and the dirty bass groove of Dai. After two EP's and a split 7" via Japan, their debut album proper in the shape of 'Motors, Women, Drugs, Booze & Killing' got a vinyl release courtesy of Glunk Records in late 2013. A DIY effort recorded and produced by the band themselves, the relentless no-nonsense 8 tracks received rave reviews in the underground rock press worldwide, as well as hitting the UK pages of Classic Rock, Vive Le Rock, Terrorizer Magazine and more. Organised from a grassroots level and proudly failing to fit into any scene, UK tours (notably with fellow greasers The Hip Priests) have cemented The Sick Livers as the must-see band, securing fans old and new with their chorus laden anthems and unpredictable live antics. 'Motors, Women, Drugs, Booze & Killing' is out now on Glunk Records (GLUNK001LP). REVIEWS: http://www.thesicklivers.wordpress.com/about The Sick Livers’s tracks This Is My Denim (feat.
