Even with a couple different wardrobes (pregnancy-post partum-still nursing-waiting for post nursing new body clothes) I can still whittle down my closet. Benefit - smaller laundry piles! 2017-06-01T19:11:58Z Comment by Julie Stahle you guys are funny 2017-02-03T19:07:59Z Comment by Jean Iris Dahlquist I would also argue, that as a woman moving to a minimalist wardrobe, yes you do need more clothes. Why? Because every woman has fat clothes, skinny clothes, and a few things in between. I know I at least change sizes for one whole week out of the month because of... ahem. And most women have tons of clothes, because, well, you need three different wardrobes. Switching to one wardrobe, means finding clothes that look good all the time, and that can be dressed up or dressed down. And most stores don't make clothles like that any more. es like that anymore. 2017-02-03T16:50:22Z Comment by Roxana Brizendine stopped here 2017-02-03T14:12:12Z Comment by RankObituaries Dr Martens do boots for life so if they get ruined you can get replacements :) 2017-02-02T20:53:48Z Comment by Jean Iris Dahlquist Huh. There are quite a few items in my wardrobe I would be devistated if I "spilled bleach on." For example, my five year old leather superboots I got in boot camp. You know wonderful a five year old pair, perfectly broken in pair of boots is? And jeans. Though bleach might add character. Good jeans you break in, you patch, and you wash until they are soft. How long would it take to replace these items? Well, years. Because they have lived life with me. Tell a story in stains and patches. Sewed rips and bits of paint. 2017-02-02T13:52:26Z Comment by Jessica Symonds 1 Is there any way to download the podcasts? I can only listen on wifi but like to listen to podcasts during walks. This is the area that gives me the most turmoil and guilt in this journey. I love clothes. I think they are beautiful. I spend a lot of time trying to reconcile the act of admiring the beauty of something without feeling the need to own it. Clothing is a big part of identity, especially as a female, and how we express our creativity. Coming to terms with the excess that accompanies a love of clothing and finding alternative ways to express myself and is almost like trying to find a new identity. Your podcasts have added quite a lot of value to my life and I'm appreciative of your efforts. Thank you, once again. 2017-01-31T17:52:40Z Comment by Viridiana Sanchez After I read the last email about the minimalist game, my husband and I spent all day Sunday going through our house and getting rid of a bunch of stuff, we didn't see ourselves playing the game every day, but hey! It got us inspired :D 2017-01-31T17:51:21Z
