Psyrchus Praximus Productions (PPP) are recordings and projects initiated and/or produced by Ted Keylon at The Lab in The Bomb Shelter, Electrical Octopus, South Wing, and Ghost Ship Studios. They generally fall within experimental, noise, rock, loud, electronic, psychedelic, and some acoustic categories and I, Ted, am usually either playing ukulele, drums, bass, vox, assorted noise-makers (Evan Mitchell’s electric suitcase, the Schprong Box, optical air effects, dual oscillating Yamaha Portasound synth, circuit bent HR-16 drum machine, Warpman2 circuit sequencer, ADHD Glitch Synth circuit, Crank Sturgeon noise boxes, body contact glitch circuit board, metal pipes, automobile radiator, cheap grandfather clock guts, Illy 10 pound coffee cans from Capitol Cafe in Springfield, IL circa 1997, through boutique and indie pedals such as GutterNoize, Death by Audio, Electro-Faustus, Earthquaker, JHS, and Electro Harmonix, etc. or any combination thereof) recorded on a full spectrum field recorder or Linux DAW (Ardour), otherwise known as The Penguin.
I also collect other local music I find on SoundCloud that is safe to play on FM for my show Tuesday nights at 10pm Chicago Time on WQNA-DB, 'Esoterica' and the local segment at 11:11pm CST, 'Music From the 89th Parallel,' just go to
http://listen.scbradio.org
I also do a SoundCloud podcast RSS feed version of 'Esoterica,' that focuses on independent and unsigned experimental music, called 'Esoterica Special Edition':

*High quality (HQ) recordings on digital audio workstations (DAW) are indicated as well as *Lo-fi (LF) and all other recordings fall somewhere in the middle. If a track contains many songs or pieces on one file it is labelled as a *Set (SET) and select parts of sets are *cuts (CUT) though not all cuts are indicated as such. Various revisions on HQ recordings on the Penguin indicated with "r1,' 'r2,' and so on. All recordings are digital source unless otherwise noted. Tracks that are *not radio safe (NRS) are also indicated. *Other People's Projects on SoundCloud (OPP) are identified accordingly on playlists that include them.
NOTICE: SoundCloud is now encouraging upload of high res files instead of mp3s so I will be selectively upgrading many tracks and they will be indicated with (:AIF) If there is a track you would like me to upgrade right away, let me know.
PPP is the audio part of the Spectra Network and involved with WQNA-DB/SCB's Esoterica program, its local segment, Music From the 89th Parallel, (Local music from Springfield and the surrounding area), and Esoterica Special Edition, the podcast version of the show that focuses on independent and unsigned experimental music.
