StricklyBizness Chris "Estudabee" Tatum @Estudabee New York @Estudabee www.facebook.com/stricklybizness Chris Tatum, a New York unsigned rapper known better as Strickly Bizness or Estudabee was born on November 16 1989 in Bushwick, Brooklyn; raised in Hope Garden projects. Chris began rapping in 2004, a month before turning the age of 15. His interest in rapping came about when a disagreement between Biggie and Tupac fans arose amongst school peers. At the time, Chris became part of a small group of rappers from his high school, known as Strictly Business. The group did not have the drive to keep up with the rap game, thus Chris took upon the name of the group, Strickly Bizness. Estudabee is an alias of Strickly Bizness that came about by sounding out what would be simply read as “S to da B” which is a shortened form of Strickly Bizness. As a starting rapper Chris’ biggest influences were Jay-Z, Mase, Fabolous, Kanye West and Tupac. Other influences throughout his rap career have been Eminem, Biggie, Lupe Fiasco and Gemstones. Strickly Bizness’ first performance was held at the Connelly Theater in Manhattan in the summer of 2010; a showcase for Def Jam, Universal and Interscope Records. His second performance was for an Industry Spotlight event at the Times Square Comedy Club on November 4 2010. He recorded his first mixtape titled “The Recipe For Greatness” in the Fall of 2010 and officially released it to fans on October 15 2010 at an event called Fiasco Friday. Fiasco Friday was a fan held event that took place at Atlantic Records Headquarters in hopes of releasing Lupe Fiasco’s album “Lasers”. Strickly Bizness met his favorite rapper, Lupe Fiasco for the first time at the event and handed the very first copy of “The Recipe For Greatness”. The mixtape was dedicated to Lupe Fiasco. He has also handed his CD to Lyor Cohen, CEO of Warner Music and an executive of Atlantic Records and to Dosage, a Philadelphian rapper who toured with Lupe Fiasco for the “Steppin Lasers” Tour. Strickly Bizness holds this as his greatest achievement so far in his early rap career. His latest performance was at Fiasco Friday II, a release celebration of the Lasers album. Strickly Bizness hopes to become the greatest rapper of all times by making good music, put an end to meaningless, “wack” music and change the music industry.
