St. Beaufort Berlin St. Beaufort plays music that moves: rolling, percussive banjo picking; stark and steady guitar strumming; thumping and tapping basslines. The Berlin-based folk and bluegrass band from Chile, Germany and the USA has been travelling around Europe since 2014, sharing old stories and telling tall tales at more than 200 concerts and festivals. In 2013, guitar and accordion player Henric Hungerhoff hailing from German coal country met native Arizonan and banjoist Joe Jakubczyk on the streets of Berlin. Touring across Europe led them to join forces with Tomás Peralta from Santiago, Chile. A blend of folk, old-time, americana, and bluegrass, St. Beaufort plays original and traditional songs. Ranging from rousing, upbeat and silly to melancholic and intimate, they mean to move their audiences, daring them to jump aboard, join the adventure, and travel with them along on their journey. In late 2015, the band introduced St. Beaufort’s Table, a live video series. The trio invites, meets and presents one guest musician per session, who brings a new song to the table and becomes part of the band for one evening. The band’s second album is due to be released in the first half of 2018. St. Beaufort’s tracks St. Beaufort EP - Every Night Again - Master 2.wav by St. Beaufort published on 2024-03-18T21:52:25Z
