She has also performed at numerous venues, including the Royal Albert Hall, Royal Festival Hall, The Barbican, St David's Hall, Cardiff and The Foundling Museum, London. A live recording of 'Sea Symphony' by Vaughan Williams was made at the Royal Albert Hall in 2001. Sophia’s operatic roles include Cesare in Handel's Giulio Cesare, Rinaldo, in Rinaldo and Eduige in Rodelinda. Sophia’s solo engagements include Messe Sollenelle by Rossini, St Nicholas Mass by Haydn, Ode for St Cecilia’s Day by Purcell, Mass in C by Mozart and Vivaldi's Gloria. Sophia realised a long-term ambition by establishing Carolus Rex, a vocal ensemble, in 2003. As director/conductor of the ensemble, Sophia commissioned a CD recording in 2008. A passion for choral conducting came from singing for many different conductors, as soloist and choir member; this lead Sophia to create a choral workshop programme for enhancing choirs and helping conductors with choir interaction and rehearsal and baton technique.
