Crystal Stilts - Shake the Shackles by Slumberland Records published on 2010-09-13T20:37:32Z "Shake The Shackles" is Crystal Stilts' first release since "Love Is A Wave" and is a great snapshot of where the band is now and a taster for their forthcoming second album, due early 2011. Driven by echoed guitar strum and droning keys, it's a dexterous update of 60s garage pop that places it alongside late 80s Paisley Underground heroes like Green On Red and later Dream Syndicate, but the song itself is totally timeless, and impossible to place anywhere but firmly in Crystal Stilts' own unique style. To Hear a release then follow up with a band live performance is the cycle that is always poached on Soundcloud when music hunting. 2018-12-08T04:17:33Z Comment by Nicole Domiciano astonishing!! just like everything else they do! 2015-10-31T13:15:22Z Comment by erie-lake bRRRRRRRRRRilliant! 2015-01-03T16:57:47Z Comment by ReviewStalker voice is just a octave above Sisters of Mercy 2014-04-30T17:21:50Z Comment by -soundwork- Under FX !!!!!!!!!! 2013-09-26T20:31:33Z Comment by amcaat this song is so wonderful!!!! 2012-11-25T11:18:01Z
