Late October by scanner published on 2018-04-15T15:10:40Z As thrilled as I was to be invited to support American pianist Harold Budd in London in April 2018, for his first show there in 17 years, I was equally dispirited by the cancellation of the event suddenly last week. In the absence of this live show then here's a version of a piece I intended to perform on the night itself as a little tribute to Budd, and for the audience. I hope you will enjoy it and imagine sitting in a Church in London, only the creaking of the wooden benches and occasional shoe shuffles and coughs as your only other sonic distraction. It's a version of his tune Late October, originally heard on The Pearl (1984), in collaboration with Brian Eno and produced by Daniel Lanois. Genre Ambient Comment by JosefCFi Wonderful arrangement!
