#makeyourselfheard - Saint Agnes - Move Like A Ghost (LEWITT Mixing Contest) by Ronnie König published on 2019-11-03T17:21:21Z I mixed it in the box on a Windows 10 laptop with Cubase Pro 10 using stock and Waves plugins. Mixed on Sennheiser HD600 headphones. It was my very first time I was checking the mix also using the new Waves Abbey Road Studio 3 room simulation plugin. I think this plugin is useful for those of us, who don't have a million dollar studio :-) I LIKE THE LEWITT MICS!!! My first experience and I can see myself buying those mics in the future. That wurst track was interesting too. Also my first experience. I did try the attached Polarizer plugin, but I ended up not using it. I just split the overhead stereo track into 2 monos and worked with those. I am not saying this plugin is not useful. I think it's interesting, but I just didn't feel like I was ready to use it here with no previous experience. No drums samples or additional arrangements, just the original tracks from the package. I didn't fix things except for one detail: I increased the tempo of the first Hammond part and then went back to the original tempo, because for me, that tempo slow down of the Hammond right after the intro drum part felt like a bummer. It was triggering a major OCD in me, lol :) so I fixed that. I can see the point, but I don't really heard that as something wrong. Maybe if I did the delay again, I would change the settings. 2019-12-16T07:36:13Z
