Looper Theatrical Commentary Track by rcjohnso published on 2012-10-05T18:36:00Z A commentary track for Looper by writer/director Rian Johnson. This was made to be listened to on an ipod while watching Looper in the cinema, as an in-theater commentary track. Please listen to the introduction before you go to the movies, it has instructions for how to sync it up and tips for making the experience work. Enjoy, and lemme know how it goes! -Rian @rcjohnso / @loopermovie Genre commentary track Comment by Adam Cooperman I know this is a crazy old page and I'm not expecting much here, but if there's any way you could re-upload the Brother's Bloom commentary track here or anywhere... Well that'd be really awesome! 2020-09-28T18:07:50Z Comment by lemon boy Ok I'm pretty sure I'm in the wrong movie 2017-06-09T02:43:12Z Comment by My therapist Currently not even a quarter into the DVD commentary and looking forward to this already. It definitely belongs in my personal collection. 2012-11-04T15:25:55Z Comment by genuine_jon Rather than leave a bunch of comments aimed at helping others achieve sync in the absence of the Tri-Star logo that Rian mentions, let me summarise my previous comments. His own advice to un-pause the track after the first of whatever production logo begins the movie, at least in the case of the eOne logo at the start of the UK print, does get you pretty close, but still has the commentary running slightly ahead of the action. You can improve the sync by pausing the track near here, where he mentions Joe checking his hairline, and then un-pausing it when you actually see Gordon-Levitt look in the mirror and touch his forehead. But the best sync is achieved at little later by pausing the track at the moment the director points out his mother's cameo appearance at the head of a queue of people waiting in line outside the club Joe's driving his Miata to. He begins by pointing out several women that are not his mom by saying "Not her. Not her. Not her." Pause the track at the moment he exclaims "Her!" then un-pause it as soon as you catch a glimpse of the middle-aged woman in the bronze coloured cocktail dress. It's so fleeting that you'll miss it if you blink. But if you manage it you won't get a better sync than that, honest ;) A good sync makes all the difference, and is well worth the effort to achieve. I found the commentary both entertaining and informative. So may the sync be with you :) 2012-11-04T12:49:00Z Comment by treocinco Fantastic commentary 2012-10-10T17:25:51Z Comment by Bryan Levangie Is this a looped commentary track? hehe. i kid i kid. 2012-10-09T21:45:09Z Comment by PrometheusForum Great commentary, I can't wait for the bluray. 2012-10-08T04:49:47Z Comment by Andrew Martin Hogsten Thank you Rian! I love how you got those eyebrows to look like Joey Tribiani's! 2012-10-06T02:20:19Z Comment by Dunya Looper actually managed to exceed my expectation of it exceeding my high expectations. Thank you for the best theatrical experience I've had in over two years, I hope my work will one day be good enough to make you proud of being one of my biggest inspirations with FIncher and Nolan. Can't wait to listen to this commentary in the cinema next week! -@KashifPasta 2012-10-05T19:16:26Z
