On one crisp summer day, child goes outside to play.
Pollen drifts through the air, like snow everywhere.
But what does he see, but faces full of grief.
Don’t they see all the snow, like free spirits, drift and float.
Straight down from the trees, drifting in the breeze.
Oh Oh, Oh Oh...
He walks into the room, so full of gloom, and smiles in an awkward way.
Encumbered spirits drown, with each and every frown, and he smiles in an awkward way.
It’s not so bad you see, you’re still alive with me.
And he smiles, in an awkward way, this is the merry maker's way.
Oh Oh,
What will he say, on that day, when he walks away?
To take another step, through emotional wrecks, what should he prove today?
As he walks through the crowd, lifts heads up from the cloud, turns black and white to grey.
What can he say, at the end of the day, his smile has been diffused.
Take a look inside, find that crisp summer day, his child goes outside to play.
Like pollen snow everywhere, he smiles in the air, in an infectious way.
Oh, On that day.
What will he do, will he comfort you, when he walks away?
