improvisation #1 0608 by N/O/E/W/A published on 2021-08-07T12:23:17Z ...I had this idea of somehow utilizing a feedback, but haven't had a plan...so, I have prepared my classical guitar (put wires between strings), amplified it, and then pushed through a small bespoke audio effects rack (left to right: vintage delay, 24-band vocoder, resonator & saturator) in Ableton Live; next, I mapped 8 randomly chosen parameters [devices from audio effects rack] to macros and so to the midi controller; I played the guitar at the beginning and mid-way through the track, so added some noises; the rest of the tune is the feedback generated by delay device, I forced it to self-oscillate, hence it became another sound source; and on top of this, I have engaged those other parameters (e.g. amount of delay devision/beat or curve and depth of waveshaper), too, in respective devices in order to observe what sonic changes I could conjure...overall, the result is encouraging; next, I am thinking of creating some bespoke & odd acoustic devices... cover photograph by okeykat https://unsplash.com/@okeykat Genre Electronic Comment by PETE SWINTON Now you're taking off ! 2021-08-07T16:43:03Z Comment by PETE SWINTON This is excellent 2021-08-07T16:42:06Z Comment by PETE SWINTON I like this part 2021-08-07T16:37:15Z
