Cardwell Audio Design Showcase by Lucas Cardwell - VOA, Sound Designer, Composer published on 2021-01-19T20:44:36Z Hello and Good Day to whomever this may concern, my name is Lucas Cardwell and today, I'd like to showcase for you 3 different designed Audio scenarios from my Audio Design Portfolio. The first sequence I'm going to show you was done as a prolouge for a play called "The Women of Lockerbie" about the horrible tragedy of the crash of Pan Am flight 103 into Lockerbie, Scottland. Next, I would like to drop you into a scene from a stage adaptation of George Orewells classic distopian novel "1984". Specifically where Winston (The main character) Has been captured and brought to the ministry of love for torture and interrogation. Finally, I would like you to listen to a short opening I did for a radio show I run bi-weekly with a local NPR station known by the callsign WICN. The Show itself is called "The Groove" and this opening was used for "party mix" themed show that could be run if I couldn't make it into the studio that week. It's realitivly cheeasy, but I believe a good example of my ability to create realistic environments using soundscapes. Genre Ambient
