Lowdowneddy Edward G Kettle Sydney Edward G Kettle, Aka Lowdowneddy, bassplayer with 'The Divas', a band born out of the post punk period in Adelaide in 1984, artistic vehicle of Damion Campbell Young . Edward joined the Divas in 1986. This period through to the early nineties saw him performing with the band in venues across Adelaide, Sydney, Newcastle and Wollongong and also writing songs with Damion for the releases of 'Watchin creatures features' - 'Bushfire EP' and 'Five songs more'. The Rough Lemurs came next, a covers band that grew out of a Zoo . This band has now Morphed into the Lemurettes , a lounge style jazz blues thang. Currently playing venues in the Inner West. The collaboration with Paul McQueen - SWAA and Divas drummer, on the CD release of The Divas Anthology 1984-2005 , was promoted around Sydney 2014 -2015 The Divas Show with past members and new musicians .
