Early 90s Hardcore/Rave/Jungle Techno Obscurities by dj livestream published on 2020-12-13T10:00:12Z Before EDM and Dubstep filled the clubs worldwide, people in England used to congregate to take drugs to music known as 'rave' in warehouses, fields, basically anywhere they could. After years of researching and getting to know the people who were there first hand, I took it upon myself to track down some of the most obscure and sought after tracks of the era, spending a small fortune in the process. Luckily there was a really helpful record shop who pointed me to all the ultra rare-as-rocking-horse-shit deep, underground breakbeat anthems that were tearing up the dancefloors circa 1992. I am now ready to unleash what I feel has the potential to be the definitive touchstone of British rave music. One for the trainspotters and discogs anoraks - hold tight, this is as ruff as it gets.
