Born in the 80's, Leny MÜH spent his childhood between the south of France and the Parisian suburbs. In 2012 he graduated from the Fine Arts school of Angoulême, where he recorded his first demos in close collaboration with musician and comic book author Léo LOUIS-HONORÉ.
After playing a number of gigs with his cover-band GHB, he moved to Toulouse and formed the post-punk trio TROUT alongside Léo LOUIS-HONORÉ (ERGHOLAE SOMPTATOR) and Daniel SELIG (DOCKS). In May 2019 he released his first self-produced EP, "Une fugue dissociative", recorded at L'Alimentation by Thomas JUVÉ (LE COMMON DIAMOND). This record acts as an assessment of his past experience as an artist. From classic Chanson Française to New Wave, from Mylène FARMER to SIOUXSIE AND THE BANSHEES (whose "Cascade" he covered in French), he has developed a singular narrative world which brings to mind the works of David LYNCH, Rémi PARSON or Mathilde FERNANDEZ. Like David BOWIE and his onstage persona Ziggy STARDUST, he performs solo as Mulholland DRAG.
In September 2019 he released his first music video for the single "Mai", written and directed with PICTURAL THINGS, followed by "Mais où est passé Batman ?", written and produced for the Belgian singer MARY-L. Spring 2020 saw the release of "Une fugue dissociative - Mulholland Drag Edition", plus a bonus industrial-oriented track : "Morceaux de choix". In october 2020 he released his second music video for the track "Sinématographique".
His debut album "Capharnaüm" is out on May 28th and features ten tracks which capture the morning light and vanishing hopes after a dramatic night out.
