Gutta Slim Gutta Slim West Palm Beach Born in a small country town of Pahokee Fla. raised in West Palm Beach Fla., George Hannah Jr. pka Gutta Slim, first love wasn't always music, it was baseball! Slim started playing T-ball at the age of 5 & moved up in the league as time prevailed as the pitcher, you wouldve bet your last dollar on which direction this would lead to. After years of baseball & numerous all-star/Mvp trophies, the love of the sport was gone. Gutta Slim felt it was time to do something different. He followed in his older brother footsteps & joined the middle school band & found a new love...playing the trumpet. He loved playing music & went on to join his highschool marching band but after 6 years of band, that love was gone also. It was in the 10th grade when Slim found his gift & passion for rap. Freestyle/battle rapping at lunch time over beats made by the sound of someone humming & beating the lid of a garbage can. Slim decided to start a group called the "Platinum Boyz" but 3 albums later & a few bad recording contracts, slim then went on to persue a solo career hoping things would take off faster but he soon realized the road to success wasnt that easy. Night & day he began working on his solo project recording in various studios around the city of WPB & hooked up wit Local Producers Ron Mentor & Izzy who were responsible for the success of Lake Worth legendary rap group Deathstruck. After a few years into his solo career Gutta Slim stumbled upon a few deals including Atlantic records. Slim thought this was finally it, the deal he dreampt about since a kid, but do to the A&R that wanted to sign him leaving the label wanting to start his own imprint in the game, Slim decided to fall back refusing to start from ground zero AGAIN! Down on his luck, Slim got back in the lab & hooked up with producer Izzy & they became the new Snoop & Dr. Dre. With Izzy as his new manager, they released "A Day in The Life" mixtape. They moved 2,000 copies indepently throughout the chitterling circuit between Fl, Ga, & SC. Slim started gaining fans also doing shows throughout Ga & Fl. Preparing to release his new project "2 G 4 Tv", Slim recorded over 50 songs for his upcoming mixtape Slim & his label narrowed it down to 26 songs also featuring the 4 music video hit singles, "Got Plans Tonight", "Pure Pussy", "Dick Junkie", & "Nuthin 2 Lose". Gutta Slim feels this mixtape is his best project thus far, but his best is yet to come. You can expect "2 G 4 Tv" mixtape To be hitting the streets & all digital online stores November 17th.
