As the son of one of the first Belgrade Disk Jokey, Groovyman aka Sasha Radosavljevic began his career in the family spontaneously. Thanks to a great record collection and musical knowledge he had acquired a very young, it was not difficult to conclude that in life he`ll find himself in DJ-ing.
As a resident and program manager in biggest underground and lounge clubs in the country and region, like Mint (Where Groove Lives), Boho, D bar and many more, Groovyman also played festivals such as Sonus Festival, Exit Festival, Love Fest, Central Dance Event, Belgrade Beer Fest, Brodolom alongside with Darren Emerson, Martijn ten Velden, Audiojack, Len Faki, Jonny Rock, Lee Buriddge Boris Brejcha, Purple Disco Maschine, Boris Dlugosch, Soul Central, Robert Owens, Steve Angello, David Penn, Tiefschwarz, Silicone Soul, Supernova, Mr. C, Llorca, David Duriez...
Groovyman established duo Gramophonedzie (“Why Don’t You”, 2009.) with his mate Marko Milicevic. Sasa and Marko played back to back for many years in most popular clubs and major festivals in country and region. After long and succesfull partnership, Sasa decided to continue his solo career.
He was Red Bull resident DJ and one of organizers of the Red Bull Music Academy in Belgrade.
As a Tuborg resident DJ Groovyman played all over region and for first WHITE SENSATION party in Serbia, in Belgrade Arena.
Groovyman did the title track for hit movie ‘Montevideo, God bless you’ in cooperation with the Slovenian artist Magnifico.
He won the “Comunity Pick” Award on Beatport Remix Competition for his remix of Solomun’s “Medea”.
As a passionate vinyl collector, he worked for the best record stores in Belgrade, such as HMK and LNP.
Groovyman is currently collaborating with SoSure Music publishing label from London, and "High So High", "Be Good", "Desire", "Dance with me" and "Lift Me Up” featuring Jamie George are just some of the editions you will enjoy in clubs. His sets are a combination of sensual sound and a funky groove.
