We Are Just Shadows... by Gabriel Ruata published on 2013-06-14T20:48:05Z This particular piece is the only one among the album 'A Bunch of Stars A Bunch of Stories' that was improvised during the recording. I knew this one was going to be the first piece, the introduction, but I never really had an idea of how it was going to finish or how long it was going to be...the whole piece revolves around the key of F major...I probably played it like 25 times during a day, each time different, trying different combinations and at the end I decided for this version...Honestly, I was surprised with the result....I guess that is the beauty of improvising....
