"The Sound Experience Company"
Future Phonic Studios is run by Bulgarian/Dutch music producer and Grammy Certified audio engineer Richard Burki (1991) and Teodora Dimcheva (1990). The studio contributed to the first wave of immersive audio content hitting international charts, a field that is the studio's specialty since 2014 and established it as the first Dolby Atmos Music Studio in the Netherlands.
Burki's distinctive approach to mixing in 3D for formats such as Auro 3D, Dolby Atmos and Sony 360 RA have already been widely embraced, with Future Phonic Studios being a verified and recommended service partner for the likes of UMG, WMG, Deutsche Grammophon, and Spinnin Records, garnering in excess of 2.5 billion cumulative streams across platforms.
The studio's versatility encompasses everything from recording to mixing, sound design and music production for a variety of clients ranging from Neoclassical to EDM for artists as diverse as Tiesto, The Metropol Orchestra, Joep Beving, Afrojack, Sam Feldt, Max Cooper, Mason, Bakermat, The Echo Collective, David Guetta, Ben Lukas Boysen, OwnBoss, Sevek, Lucas & Steve, Ty, Michael Stearns and Oceanic.
Future Phonic Studios specializes in the emerging tech space, creating 3D audio for VR, film, games and location-based experiences such as the recently unveiled Outernet experience center in London, the virtual reality rides at Adam VR or the "Taste" 360 Theatre Experience for which they co-produced a 16-track album, additionally assisting the production with the installation and configuration of a 3D sound system on location at the Amsterdome. The “Taste” album is amongst the first albums to be conceived, recorded and produced in 3D for formats such as Dolby Atmos with Joep Beving and The Echo Collective in 2021.
Richard Burki also produced the Atmos mixes for "Hero" by David Guetta and Afrojack which leapt to the top of international charts and landed them a nomination for a Grammy in the category of "Best Dance/Electronic Recording" during the 64th annual Grammy Awards in 2022.
Future Phonic Studios has established a reputation for their unique approach to sound and music using immersive audio: designing, engineering, producing and guiding international artists and labels as well as creatives in media such as VR, Film, Games and Web3.0 on best practices when it comes to leveraging emerging audio technologies.
