So, TCS makes sure a mjority gets C in the first place. Getting A or B is always biased. Employees who has closer ties with his/her manager always gets away with A or B. So, getting A or B is purely non-performance based. If TCS wants to cut down under performers, it should at-least be sensible enough to know ground realities before taking the kind of decisions it has taken now. TCS has to create a team whose role should be to evaluate employees transparently. Not only the project managers, but also the client's inputs, and employee's inputs should be considered.
