Soft Robin Song In A Thunderstorm by Douglas Langley published on 2020-11-09T21:30:00Z In August 2020 there was a few days of some intense thunderstorms across the UK. On this particular day I put my microphone rig out under the cover of a large hedge outside my flat and recorded for several hours. For most of the recording the hedge was inhabited also by a robin, who sang softly throughout most of the storm. This is a short excerpt from that longer recording where I like the density of the rain, and where the song cuts through just enough. It was the middle of the day so you'll hear some traffic and other sounds of activity from where I live, at the edge of a city.
