dj simon hebdige simon hebdige southampton Simon Hebdige first brought his first set of decks at the tender age of 15. This consisted of a basic set up of standard record decks and a standard mixer. Music from the likes of darude - sandstorm, warrior - warrior and kernkraft 400 - zombie nation, to name but a few, inspired him to upgrade his set up and to try and progress into something that he loved. The dj industry turned from vinyl to cds so Simon decided to invest into a set up of pionner cdj100's. Simon quickly progressed and found that another upgrade was needed as cdj 100's weren't at the level that he had progressed to. Simon decided to progress to the level that was needed he needed to invest into industrial standard decks so, with the help of his girlfriend, Simon invested in a set up of pionner cdj1000mk3 and pionner djm600. With this set up his mixing skills grew from strength to strength and he was now performing at house parties. Along the way he meet other djs in the Southampton area. These djs gave Simon valuable tips and advise which pointed him in the direction that was needed. Simon's brake came when he got the nod to perform at midnight sessions at the Whitehouse in Southampton. On the night Simon single handily turnned the midnight sessions room from empty to full leaving down stairs bar staff wondering where everyone had gone. Midnight sessions was a big step in the right direction for simon. Following his success at midnight sessions simon went to ibiza with a few friends.
