Las Vegas, Detroit
Dik Richie's first major influence to electronic dance music was from his cousin: San Fransisco/Las Vegas House Legend DJ Joey Mazzola, who, every afternoon when Richie was only 7 years old, would play the most amazing Chicago House/ Detroit Electro & Classic Hip Hop from the early days. Also as a child listening to Jeff Mills on the radio at night was a def. influence as well. This experience lead to an auditory addiction which is the foundation of Richie’s ever-evolving craft, which we can hear & see today.
Dik Richie has played in multiple cities- from Toronto to Miami, From NY to San Fran. After landing a residency in Vegas for 6 yrs. Hes now based in Detroit since 2012.. his unique style always lifts the crowd above & beyond. His strong point is mixing an exquisite array of Vocal House, Funky Techno, and his storytelling narratives put into a melting pot of delightful sounds. You just have to hear it for yourself!
