childrensradiofoundation Children's Radio Foundation Cape Town A not-for-profit organization based in Cape Town, South Africa, the Children’s Radio Foundation (CRF) gives young people the skills and tools to make their voices heard and to engage in dialogue about important community issues. Working in six African countries, CRF partners with local radio stations and community organizations to train youth as radio reporters and broadcasters. We see radio as a tool for talk—as a means of facilitating conversations outside of everyday interactions and providing a sounding board for local concerns and realities. Our radio training workshops set the stage for young people to share their experiences, to interview their peers and community members, and through regular radio broadcasts, to reach out to their community. CRF has over 1700 trained youth radio reporters in operation in the Democratic Republic of Congo, Liberia, Ivory Coast, South Africa, Tanzania, and Zambia, working in schools, community centers, hospitals, and radio stations. childrensradiofoundation’s popular tracks Connaître la RUBEOLE by childrensradiofoundation published on 2018-12-19T13:39:27Z Teen Express from Radio Atlantis wins a competition! by childrensradiofoundation published on 2013-10-24T19:20:28Z Radio Workshop: Fighting tuberculosis and winning by childrensradiofoundation published on 2012-08-17T07:08:44Z Radio Workshop: Mujahid interviews his doctor by childrensradiofoundation published on 2011-02-07T12:07:41Z Radio Workshop: Bongeziwe Mabandla by childrensradiofoundation published on 2014-03-12T10:58:28Z BONDOUKOU_ESPACE ENFANTS - EBOLA by childrensradiofoundation published on 2023-10-09T10:04:01Z Vox Pops by childrensradiofoundation published on 2018-07-12T13:50:25Z PORT BOUET ATM_UNIVERS DES JEUNES_Les raisons des violences sexuelles faites aux enfants by childrensradiofoundation published on 2020-03-17T21:30:01Z Radio Workshop: Losing a loved one by childrensradiofoundation published on 2012-01-20T08:18:26Z Radio Workshop: Clowning Around by childrensradiofoundation published on 2012-09-10T19:59:59Z Colin Greenwood in South Africa: Moutse Community Radio Station by childrensradiofoundation published on 2013-01-28T12:57:22Z Radio Workshop: He named me malala by childrensradiofoundation published on 2017-01-09T11:39:30Z Colin Greenwood in South Africa: Baby Girl by childrensradiofoundation published on 2013-01-20T19:23:10Z NOXOLO MENTAL HEALTH Audio Profile by childrensradiofoundation published on 2022-10-11T06:26:52Z Radio Workshop: Brain over brawn in the fight against Gender Based Violence by childrensradiofoundation published on 2017-02-03T11:20:50Z Audio Commentary By Towela THE VOICE RADIO SHOW (Lusaka,Zambia) by childrensradiofoundation published on 2018-08-29T10:53:11Z Aganang Best Feature: audio commentary by childrensradiofoundation published on 2013-05-07T11:26:57Z BBC 6 Music: Sounds Of South Africa by Colin Greenwood (pt 2) by childrensradiofoundation published on 2013-09-03T22:13:11Z La construction du barrage INGA 3 by childrensradiofoundation published on 2021-07-28T17:07:03Z Song by Youth Reporter John Ncongwane: "All I want is ubuntu" by childrensradiofoundation published on 2015-04-29T11:54:01Z Interview with Tsepiso Makwetla, SAfm Current Affairs Anchor and Ambassador for "Moms Connect" by childrensradiofoundation published on 2015-05-06T15:40:17Z Banesa.
