Looking Towards The River by 8000 Miles published on 2022-04-16T12:02:42Z The first single, Looking Towards The River, from 8000 Miles’ second album, Crystal Confetti, carries us through highs and lows of searching for fulfillment of a dream. As you may notice, the cover art harkens back to a familiar cover from 1973 and that is intentional, because Andrea and Rebecca are strongly influenced by music from that time period. Many fans of 8000 Miles’ first album, Aggregate, have remarked on that influence. The title Crystal Confetti represents the clarity 8000 Miles is honing in their duo’s style and the contrast of weighted moods and flying inspirations. The entire album, Crystal Confetti, has been released on Bandcamp. Go to https://8000miles.bandcamp.com to check it out and follow 8000 Miles on Bandcamp to get first notices of new releases. This is a great prog track and right up my street. As always amazing guitar works and soundscape. I particularly like the panning and separation to enable a clear listen to all the complexities. That's not easy to achieve properly. 2024-02-20T23:14:37Z Comment by RENTT You guys really work well together this us spectacular! 2023-11-03T05:28:29Z Comment by N.o.b.S. Their pieces are masterfully fashioned & put IIgether with class. We are nowhere near a coast so we can’t ‘Look towards the River’. So we look ‘8000 miles’. 🤙 IV sup 2022-06-06T07:44:59Z Comment by Nicky Lawton the drum arrangements is so well organized and engaging throughout 2022-06-02T07:29:55Z Comment by GrevusAnjl For 8000 miles distance, you two play like you've been neighbors and best friends forever.
