MPH x Logan - Set Trends by 1Forty published on 2021-12-13T11:29:07Z With 'Levelz 2 Dis' being named as one of the "UKG Tracks Of The Year" by many including the likes of Jeremiah Asiamah (BBC Radio 1) and DJ Target (BBC Radio 1Xtra), MPH didn't want to stop there. This time we linked him up with UKG and Dubstep label mainstay Logan for ‘Set Trends’. A melodic, 2-step driven instrumental peppered with Logan's patois delivery to see out a stellar year of UKG for both the label and MPH himself. We have already said these exact words once this year but the same applies here. Another tantalising collaboration for not just the 1Forty camp, but the UK Garage scene. Did we think 'Levelz 2 Dis' could be topped? Probably not. We'll let you decide.. MPH has woven his sound into nearly every conceivable corner of UK dancefloors, strapping together monumental releases for some of the scenes most important imprints. From smooth garage creations with DJ EZ’s label Nuvolve, Kiwi Records, Southpoint and now 1Forty to be added to that list, to raucous bassline bangers for the likes of Night Bass & CruCast, its difficult to find a leading underground label within Garage & Bass music that MPH is yet to encounter. Logan returns to 1Forty after two consecutive Dubstep vocal (three including 4 Years Of 1Forty). Logan teamed up with 9TRANE and Hamdi alike for 'Evil Side' and 'Bun Dem Down' for a pair of blistering dubstep records, following on from one of the UKG smashes in ‘Worthwhile’ at the end of 2019 alongside Murder He Wrote, which drove its way into Spotify’s ‘New Music Friday’ editorial playlist on release day as well as Rinse FM’s A-List Playlist over the Christmas period, and receiving a whole host of support across the BBC from Toddla T, Mary Anne Hobbs, Jamz Supernova and more. 2019 really saw Logan come into his own as both an artist and an MC, being picked up for LOTM8 by Jammer paired with a string of high profile releases making him without doubt one of the most versatile names of the next generation. With releases across MoreTime Records, with Kouslin on Durkle Disco and Idris Elba’s ‘Yardie Mixtape’ respectively says all you need to know. There are also honourable mentions for tracks ‘Like Me’ with Treble Clef and ‘Ready Fi Di War’ with Trends both of which gained significant traction across the BBC, Rinse & Reprezent also. Making himself a Grime Originals mainstay and being one of the most active names at Outlook Festival shelling down boat parties and stages alike throughout the week further aided his rise. @MPH-UK www.facebook.com/mphukofficial www.instagram.com/mph_uk www.twitter.com/mph_uk @OfficialLoganMusic www.instagram.com/logan_olm www.twitter.com/logan_olm Genre Garage Comment by L dawg bruh this is so skatty nasty sexy fire 2023-12-15T22:45:46Z Comment by FACTORY RESET whatttt?!?? 2022-07-10T00:57:18Z Comment by IllFX Tight 2021-12-18T14:15:37Z Comment by SUBGHOST YUH 2021-12-18T13:16:08Z Comment by MethotXXX 🔥🔥🔥 2021-12-17T08:55:57Z Comment by SUBSOUND. huge vibes love this 2021-12-16T16:12:07Z Comment by ØZ hard 2021-12-14T13:33:53Z Comment by NANKA Cold 2021-12-14T10:55:42Z
