Ayanda Sisusa
Cape Town
Ayanda King Sisusa (born October 14, 1993 | Church Street. Langa Township, Cape Town) is an independent hip-hop artist, song writer and producer residing in Kraaifontein. The streets crowned him "King" and he has lived up to his name, by releasing a series of [Mixtape's] that led to the creation of his Extended Project (EP) titled: Ape Town Lost Files.
Music has been a great part of Ayanda's life, since at a tender age of 12 years old. That's when he decided to take rapping on' as a career, and the desire to be the best MC grew stronger as the years progressed. "Practise, Repetition and the Power of Self-belief ", are the values embodied in C.T.V.O (Cape Town's Very Own). Ayanda, understood the fact, that he had to excel academically to express himself musically.
Ayanda Sisusa, completed his secondary education successfully in 2012, and enrolled at (CPUT) for Accountancy ND.
The music started gaining traction in what would have been his 3rd year of tertiary education (2015), that resulted in Ayanda, dropping out and touring the Cape scene, to make a name for himself as the underdog of this rap game - sharpening his skill as an MC. He decided to vacate his home, leaving behind two younger siblings and his parents. "So the streets became my new home". Irrespective of the cards you may be dealt with, how you complete the game is still very much in your hands , stated Ayanda.

Ayanda has mastered the skill of remembering his rap lines/melodies, without penning it down. That skill was sharpened when he had to think of lines, while busy with his everyday struggle of staying alive. As an independent artist and producer, there is barely enough time to see the family, let alone the music. That same skill has been identified in one of his idol's Jay-Z.
